Just got off the phone with Lew Uhler and the last piece of the puzzle came together. Lew has signed up to be a Cruz delegate at the National Convention. He found out how to do it, and he’s going to send the info to me, so I can sign up too. We both live in Tom McClinton’s district, a Tea Party district, and there will be competition to see who the Cruz campaign picks as their official delegates. This is a Congressional district that Cruz will win easily, and we get three delegates. Lew didn’t think he had a chance, that the slots would be filled with big time donors. I thought about it for a second, and told him I might be able to pull some strings and have him selected.
And then I thought, what the hell, why don’t I go too?
